Fozia found a sense of community and hope in Behbud that she never thought possible. Despite the fact that she is illiterate, she ensured that her children received the best education possible, which she managed through her employment at the vocational center where she has been working for the last 10 years.
She completed her certificate and diploma course at Behbud Vocational Center and has sewn both Cotton Gharrara suits and newborn outfits. Fozia was supporting her family as a single mother because her children were caring for her husband, who has impaired intellectual function. Despite her hardships, she feels very optimistic and proud of her children’s achievements. Her elder son is in the army, her younger son is in Class 6, and one of her daughters is pursuing her Master’s after completing her B.Com, while the other is in a BA undergraduate program. Behbud provided her children with extra support through English classes and computer classes, for which Fozia is immensely grateful.
