For the past six years, I have been working as a security guard at the Behbud Clifton Complex. I am a husband and the father of seven children: one daughter and six sons. I was hired by Behbud after I became handicapped and lost my previous construction job. Behbud also helped us put our daughters through school. Now, all of my daughters have completed at least their matriculation, and at home, it’s just my wife, two of my daughters, and me. Our eldest daughter is still unmarried and works as a factory machine operator to help support our family, while our youngest has taken a keen interest in Behbud; she volunteers there and is enrolled in Behbud’s Teachers Training Program.
During the launch of Behbud’s Health Project in January 2020, all employees were tested, and I tested positive. I received free treatment and now have more energy, fewer headaches, and my appetite has returned. I initially thought these symptoms were due to stress, but they could have led to chronic liver damage or even death.
