Shaheen, mother of 6 married children, discovered Behbud while they were still kids. Her husband was a cycle repairman but unfortunately had to quite due to health reasons (blindness).
Her association with Behbud goes a long way. She initially came to seek treatment for her daughter’s fever. Later due to the financial situation at home she returned in search of employment and took up the available position of a Massi and started to earn on her own. Not only that, but her Hepatitis C infection was also diagnosed, treated, and cured on time by the Behbud Health Services Clinic.
As a result of Shaheen’s hard work and dedication, her children are now all happily married and settled. In fact, her eldest daughter also taught at Behbud for almost a year and continued her studies on her own finances. We are proud to see how far Shaheen has come.
